Justin Bechen

Justin Bechen has significant experience defending and managing workers' compensation claims with varying levels of exposure, life pension, permanent total, and catastrophic injuries, as well as ancillary claims for increased benefits under Labor Code Sections 132a and 4553 (serious and willful misconduct).

He effectively communicates with claims examiners to manage cases from inception to resolution while providing ongoing education of workers' compensation issues and trends. Prior to attending law school Mr. Bechen worked as a claims examiner for Wausau Insurance handling California claims, and later at Gallagher Bassett. As an adjuster, he handled litigated files and lost time files, ranging in complexity from simple disputes over permanent impairment, to complex and high-value matters.
